Member of Parliament for Assin Central constituency, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has donated medical equipment to Assin Foso Polyclinic, to boost health care delivery. The items include microscope autoclave machines, Blood Bank refrigerator, 10 set of beds and chairs as well as refrigerators, baby Scale machines and other Theater equipments. He also added  two Motorcycles for easy movement to nearby communities. He promised to buy a 40kv generator, air conditioners, Incubator and other Theater equipments to the Directorate. Handing over the items to the Municipal Health Directorate, the outspoken parliamentarian said the donation formed part of a health support scheme under his jurisdiction to demonstrate his commitment to better health care delivery to the people living in Assin Central Municipality. The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has presented 140 vehicles, comprising 50 Ankai buses, 40 Toyota Landcruiser Hardbody Vehicles and 50 Toyota Hilux Pickups, to the Ghana Armed Forces, in fulfillment of an October 2018 pledge he made to the military. The Federation of Disability Organisations had condemned the comment and demanded an apology from the President. The President only used metaphor in his speech. The Gender Minister, Hon. Cynthia Morrison, says she will adopt the five-year-old boy whose left limb was amputated and support him till he completes his high school education. She expressed sadness about the maltreatment meted out to the child and said she would personally enroll the boy in school and look after him till he completes Senior High School. Hon. Regardless of the repulsive, provocative conduct by the NDC's National Communications Director on the show which included unacceptable verbal attacks on the President and myself, I am, upon sober reflection, apologising to listeners of Asempa FM and Ghanaians for the manner in which I responded. A Nigerian helicopter carrying vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, has crashed immediately after take off at Kabba on Saturday. Member of Parliament for Asawase constituency in the Ashanti region, Muntaka Mubarak has apologised to Ghanaians for engaging in a near brawl with Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong. Speaking at a press conference, he said "each and every one of us is a leader in his own right…I feel very bad about what happened because two wrongs do not make a right. No matter the provocation, one should be restrained … I am really sorry about what happened yesterday and I wish it never happened."

I congratulate Lydia Seyram Alhassan on her emphatic victory in Thursday’s by-election, in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency. The electorate in the constituency has made an excellent choice, and I am confident she will serve their interests in Parliament with distinction. The isolated incident of violence, which occurred in the early stages of the election, was unfortunate and regrettable, and I condemn it in no uncertain terms. A by-election should be a peaceful and happy event, no matter how competitive.
