Congratulations To Rockson Adjei-Yeboah For Wining Best Sports Show Host,Ashanti Region


The 8th edition of the Foklex Media Awards came off over the weekend on Saturday 13th April,2019 at the National Theatre, Accra which saw many industry players in the media picking up deserving awards.

Among the awardees on that faithful night was Rockson Adjei-Yeboah of Kumasi's giant Fox 97.9 fm wining the best sports show host of the year,Ashanti Region.



Papa Rock as affectionately called was in one of the tightest categories since Ashanti Region is known for great talents when it comes to sports shows. In the category was defending champion Summer of Angel fm,Kanu(Otec fm),Kwaku Ahenkorah (Sikka fm),Benghazi (Ultimate fm) and a few others.

At the end of it all, Rockson came out victor with a whooping votes of 3,424. The auditorium was set ablaze when the proud host of the 'Nationwide Sports Show' Rockson Adjei-Yeboah was mentioned to have won his category. He was accompanied by local football expert and CEO of Unity Fc,Opoku-Afriyie Richmond, Best Commentator hopeful,Darling Boy Piero,Eddie and Abdul-Rashid all of Unity Fc and some sports crew from sister station Hot93.9fm,Accra.



In an brief interview with Rockson by Nana Quame Afriyie (Editor,nqanews.blogspot.com), he maintained wining an award was forthcoming and was as a result of persistent and consistent hardwork,dedication and commitment to the job. He went further to sing praises on the entire sports crew for their immense contribution and also thanked cherished listeners,fans,followers and members of Fox Sports pages on various socisl medis platforms and the general public for the unflinching support and love always.



In his closing remarks, he personally dedicated the award to the Chief Executive Officer of Foxfm,Don Afro Capitola for the faith repose in him.
