Michael Okyere Baafi's GFZA Organises Stakeholder's Meeting For Free Zones Enterprises


The Ghana Free Zones Authority organized a stakeholder’s meeting at the Alisa Hotel for Free Zones Enterprises (FZEs) on Ghana Revenue Authority’s new directive on the requirement for Bank Guarantees prior to export; and the payment of duties at the time of importation.

The forum allowed top management of FZEs to discuss the impact of the new directives and attending problems. 

Mr. Michael Okyere Baafi ,the Chief Executive Officer of GFZA assured the representatives of the FZEs of the Authority’s support and urged all to proffer solutions which will be accepted by all stakeholders, without impacting negatively on businesses while assuring that government objectives are also met.
