National Sports Policy Review Committee Inaugurated

The Akufo Addo Government has for the past 2 years been embarking on rigorous transformation of Ghana’s sporting ecosystem. A key priority on this agenda has been an auditing and subsequently rehabilitation of Ghana’s Sporting Infrastructure. Government is also constructing 10 multi-purpose youth centers with state-of-the-art sporting facilities across the country.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports led by Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah has taken the notch higher by inaugurating a National Sports Policy Review Committee to review all existing sporting policies in Ghana, to organize a forum for all relevant stakeholders to discuss and collate ideas on how best sporting activities can be improved among  several other factors.

I look forward to working with other members of the Committee as we rebuild and expand our sport ecosystem.
