90,000 APPLICANTS ACCEPT NABCO POSTING



90,000 applicants of the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) Programme have accepted their placement in all seven modules of the programme across the country. The President will publicly out -door them on October 17th 2018. In all, 100,000 graduates are expected to be enrolled onto the programme for the first year, and will be on the programme for 3 years. The modules are: Civic Ghana, Revenue Ghana, Educate Ghana, Enterprise Ghana, Digitize Ghana, Heal Ghana and Feed Ghana modules of the programme.

*Background:*

• The initiative brilliantly addresses two main issues: solving the graduate unemployment problem while allocating those graduates into certain key sectors of the economy that are confronted with some challenges. The sectors will benefit from the additional labour of the graduates.

•    NABCO will boost productivity in the various sectors and also add value to the skill and knowledge of the trainees for which they will be well -placed to be self-reliant in their entrepreneurial endeavors.
