Six Players Have Their Contracts Terminated By Asante Kotoko


Kumasi Asante Kotoko have released 6 of the first team players due to ineffective performance amidst other reasons. The names include;

1. Muntari Tagoe (Goalkeeper)

2. Daniel Nii Adjei

3. Obed Owusu

4. Frederick Boateng

5. Naby Keita

6. Abas Mohammed (ex Medeama striker)

The list initially included midfield dynamo Jordan Opoku, but the returnee academy product has been spared for now and would be watched keenly to justify his stay during the upcoming Normalization Special Competition.

It must however be noted, that the former Medeama shot stopper Muntari Tagoe is being released due to different reasons, among which reports point at financial issues regarding his current wages.
