4 CONTI HALL STUDENTS PUNISHED BY KNUST FOR HOSTING MALES INTO THEIR ROOM

Image
Authorities of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) have punished four ladies and two guys who are members of  Unity Hall (Conti) for hosting their opposite sexes in their rooms against hall rules. According to the Hall authorities,  no Conti lady is allowed to host a guy in her room after 10pm, while guys are not to host a lady after 10pm. The 6 students were asked to write Bonds to be of good behaviour. While the reason for this 10pm rule will be only too obvious in a formerly Male Hall which is now mixed, MyNewsGH.com’s Nana Kwasi Adom made effort to reach Unity Hall authorities on this to ascertain the rationale behind the decision to no avail. Many comments passed on social media have expressed disapproval of the University’s attempt to introduce SHS-like ‘light out’ rule almost as if the KNUST student are little children. More to follow..
