FRED PAPPOE CALLS FOR FINANCIAL TRANSPARENCY FROM NEXT GFA


Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Vice President Fred Pappoe has expressed his satisfaction with the personalities on the FIFA Normalization Committee for Ghana, but expects a transparent financial scrutiny to the accounts of the new GFA in the nex
t Congress.

In his submission on FOX 97.9 FM, Pappoe stated that the previous GFA had their accounts audited but their accounts were not properly scrutinized at the GFA Congress, but he expects this situation to change in the next Congresses to be organized by the next FA.

"I have much confidence in the individuals on the Normalization Committee, each of them has succeeded in their personal businesses and their areas of qualification are also needed for football". There are several areas the Normalization Committee would have to revisit and one of them is the accounts of the GFA. The GFA accounts has always been audited  but when it comes to Congress the accounts have not been subjected to  scrutiny and I expect more transparency in that".
