AGGRIEVED SERIAL CALLERS OF NPP IN A/R BURN THEIR MOBILE DEVICES

Disgruntled serial callers and radio monitors of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti region will stop at nothing until their grievances are addressed by the party’s leadership.

They claim some appointees and party executives in the region are living flamboyant lifestyles less than two years in office whiles they continue to wallow in poverty; insisting that they also deserve their share of goodies for contributing to the 2016 electoral fortunes of the party.

“We see them every day splashing monies on their girlfriends and living big and large but we continue to defend government policies and programmes on radio with empty stomachs. Enough of the suffering we deserve better now”, a spokesperson of the group told a Kumasi-based radio station Fox97.9fm.

According to them, they suspect someone continuously diverts the resources meant for them or the party’s leadership is oblivious of the fact that they played and continue to play a key role in its stay in government.

After burning their phones, SIM cards and other cadges on Wednesday, they promised to hit the streets with unrestrained demonstrations to register their displeasure in the unfair treatment being meted out to them by both the government and the party leadership.
