Ghana has quiet a number of sports stadium.Over the years Ghana has produced a number world stars who have made their names in football. Sports stadium plays major role in the life of every football nation for which Ghana isn't an exception.Nqanews.blogspot.com is providing to it readers a pictorial evidence of the current state Essipong Sports Stadium built and used for the CAN 2008.
This is one of the stadia built for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations Tournament.The sports centre after the tourney was used by premier league clubs for various local and African competitions.



In a spate of 10 years the sports facility is in shutters. The facility has it roofing almost ripping off. The technical bench have the seats destroyed .The metals have rusted which poses serious threat to users of the facility.
The pitch itself needs to be maintained as it undermines good football by players.





So do we really care about the money pumped in putting up this edifice?
Is our sports council up to task with maintaining the quality of work done?




What comes to mind immediately is our "Maintenance Culture as a people.
We have demonstrated over years to have "Poor Maintenance Culture". When will mother Ghana learn to keep and maintain hugely invested facilities of our dear nation?

It is time to rise up and make people put in public offices work effectively and efficiently.
