Education Minister Leads Delegation To Attend The 16th Edition Of The Education World Forum

Industrious member of parliament of Manhyia South Constituency and minister of education,Hon. Mathew Opoku Prempeh  has lead a government delegation at the 16th
edition of the Education World Forum, the world’s largest gathering of education and skills ministers which is taking place in London, UK.

At the opening session today, he joined a distinguished panel to discuss the relevance of education in today’s world and the important skills needed for the future. I used the opportunity to emphasise government's intention of using education to bridge the gap between the haves and the have-nots in Ghana and to rekindle the hope that used to exist in public school education.

With the curricula, teacher, TVET and tertiary reforms being pursued concurrently in Ghana, he hopes to lay a foundation for the provision of quality education across board, while increasing access and ensuring equity.

In the next couple of days, my team and Hon. Mathew Opoku Prempeh will meet with various relevant organizations and entrepreneurs here in  London looking to invest in Ghana’s education sector.
